This document discloses the privacy practices for Odyseek.com, a website (the “Site” or “Website”) owned and operated by Odyseek Inc. ("Privacy Policy"). As part of the normal operation of Odyseek.com’s services, we collect and, in some cases, disclose information about you to third parties. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect about you, how Odyseek.com may use such information, and what may happen to that information. By accepting the Terms of Use (located on our Terms of Use page, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personally identifiable information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to the terms of the Odyseek.com’s Terms of Use.

1. Minors. If you are a minor, you can use this service only in conjunction with / with the consent and under the supervision of your parents or legal guardians. If you are a minor, please do not submit any personal information to this website. IF YOU ARE 13 YEARS OR YOUNGER, PLEASE DO NOT USE ODYSEEK OR ANY OF ITS SERVICES FOR ANY PURPOSE AT ANY TIME.

2. Information We Collect.

a) Your Registration Information. To fully use our services, you will need to register using our online registration form, where you will be required to provide us with your contact information and certain other personal information, such as name, location, birthdate, and skills & interests.  

b) Your Usage of Our Site.
We automatically track certain information about you based upon your use of our Site. We use this information to conduct internal research on our users' demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand and serve our users. This information is compiled and analyzed on an aggregate and anonymized basis. This information may include the URL that you just came from, which URL you next go to, what browser you are using, and your IP address.

c) Cookies.
In addition, we use "cookies" on certain pages of our Site. Cookies are small files that can be used to track a user's steps or automatically generate a user's password. If you do not wish to receive these communications, emailing us or submitting an online ‘Contact Us’ form on our main website.

c) Billing and Support.
If you open a credit account with our Website, we use your address and billing information to bill you and provide associated support.

d) Dispute Resolution.
We use information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the Site, to resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, and enforce our Terms of Use.

By signing up for an account on Odyseek, you may opt in to receive periodic email communications from us, including newsletters, promotional offers, and updates on new services. You may withdraw your consent and opt out at any time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our emails or adjusting your communication preferences in your account settings. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We comply with applicable email marketing regulations, including the CAN-SPAM Act (U.S.), GDPR (EU), and CASL (Canada).

4. Our Disclosure to Third Parties.
We use practices that are consistent with standards in our industry to protect your privacy. We cannot, however, promise that your personally identifiable information or private communications will remain private. For example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications on our Website. c) Odyseek.com Site.
Throughout the Site, you are identified by your User ID. Our system automatically sets your User ID as your email address. In this situation, where you are identified on the Site by your User ID, you disclose your email address to other users and third parties. As a result, other users and third parties might send you unsolicited email and be able to personally identify all of your activities on the Site. Although our pages are coded with robot exclusion headers, others may attempt to automatically collect your email address from our Site. You may change your User ID by emailing support@odyseek.com or on your account settings page if available on www.Odyseek.com . Even if your User ID is not your email address, your User ID can be used to identify you and your activities throughout the Site. Other people can see your activities on the Site, including any of your comments and postings on the Site, and so on.

d) Third-Party Suppliers. We use others to help us provide our Services (e.g., maintenance, analysis, audit, payments, fraud detection, marketing and development). They will have access to your information as reasonably necessary to perform these tasks on our behalf. We impose contractual restrictions on the use by our third-party suppliers of information concerning you, and we do not permit third party suppliers to sell or rent your information to other third parties.

e) Use Limited to Site-Related Communications. Because of the nature of the services offered on Odyseek.com, Odyseek.com allows you to access other users' contact information. You may use such information only for Odyseek.com-related communications. Odyseek.com-related communication expressly excludes unsolicited commercial messages. You may remove your information from our database and review what information we have collected about you by submitting a request to privacy@odyseek.com for a response within 45 days.

f) No Spam. Odyseek strictly adheres to anti-spam laws, including CAN-SPAM (U.S.), GDPR (EU), and CASL (Canada). We only send promotional emails to users who have explicitly opted in. If you no longer wish to receive marketing emails, you may unsubscribe at any time using the "Unsubscribe" link provided in every email or by adjusting your email preferences in your account settings. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Disclosures You Make to Third Parties. Odyseek.com does not control the privacy policies of third parties. When you disclose information to third parties on Odyseek.com (or any other website) about yourself, you are subject to the privacy customs and policies of that third party. It is your responsibility to find out about the privacy policy of any such third parties. The Site may contain links to other websites. Please be aware that Odyseek.com is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those other websites. You acknowledge and agree that your use of such third-party websites is entirely at your own risk and Odyseek.com is not responsible or liable in any way for any of your dealings or transactions with such websites.

6. Changes.  We can modify this Privacy Policy, and if we make material changes to it, we will provide notice through our Website, or by other means, to provide you the opportunity to review the changes before they become effective. If you object to any changes, you may close your account. You acknowledge that your continued use of our Services after we publish or send a notice about our changes to this Privacy Policy means that the collection, use and sharing of your personal data is subject to the updated Privacy Policy, as of its effective date.
